Action packed week end for our teams

The snow did not stop both of our senior team to travel to Guildford this week end for two intense matches against the men and women team of Guildford Sabres.

The women’s team started with a difficult game where the first half ended with a 5 goals difference (14-9), and the second half with a 7 goals difference (28-21). Even if it ended with a loss, the girls did not stop fighting until the end.

The men’s game was as tight as it gets with a 2 goals difference at the end of the first half (16-18) and the match finishing with a one goal difference (31-32) and a win for the Chelsea boys. The team has shown that playing as a group and staying focused from the first second to the last was key to success.

A strong start for the men’s team in 2018

Happy New Year from Chelsea Handball Club!

This year started really well for our men’s team with four victories in three matches!
It started on the 7th of January with a match against Eastbourne at Eastbourne (22-42), then a match against Islington II (21-32), a home game against Eastbourne (40-19) and finally another game against Islington (25-17).
This is an amazing start to the year and we hope the rest of the season will be as good as this!

Men’s game against Medway dragons

The first win of the season is here for the men’s team! A large victory (39-19) gave the team a well needed boost of confidence!

We have shown that the team can work together and can show a good handball as much in attack as in defence.

Thank you to the players and the referees!

First men’s league game against London GD

Men’s season started with a difficult match against London GD, the concluded with a loss 33-20.

After a slow start Chelsea found themselves 10 goals behind at the end of the first half. Despite a better performance in the second half it was not enough to overcome the experienced team of London GD.

This match showed us what we need to work on before the next match against the Gilford Sabres comes.
